Our Services

At Canine Motion Care, we are dedicated to helping dogs move, feel, and live better through personalized physical therapy services. Whether your dog is recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic pain, or simply in need of improved mobility, we offer expert care designed to support every stage of their journey.

Initial Evaluation

Every new client begins with a thorough evaluation. This session includes a review of your dog’s medical history, a hands-on physical assessment, gait analysis, and strength and flexibility testing. We use this information to create a customized treatment plan tailored to your dog’s unique needs and goals.

Follow-Up Sessions

Follow-up sessions are where healing and progress take shape. These appointments include targeted therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as needed. We also provide guidance for at-home care to ensure consistent progress between visits.

Home Programs

Our customized Home Exercise Programs are an essential part of your dog’s recovery and long-term wellness. Each program is designed specifically for your dog’s condition, progress, and lifestyle, ensuring safe and effective exercises you can easily do together at home.

These programs may include guided stretching, strength-building activities, balance and coordination work, and mobility exercises—all demonstrated and taught during your session.

Post - Operative

Recovery after surgery is a critical time for your dog’s healing and long-term mobility. Our post-operative rehabilitation programs are designed to support a safe and structured recovery following procedures such as TPLO, TTA, lateral suture, fracture repair, or spinal surgery. We focus on pain management, controlled exercise progression, and tissue healing—while minimizing complications and helping your dog regain function as efficiently as possible.

Orthopedic Conditions

For dogs with non-surgical orthopedic conditions—such as arthritis, hip or elbow dysplasia, patellar luxation, or soft tissue injuries—we offer personalized programs to reduce pain, improve joint function, and restore strength and mobility. Treatment may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, laser therapy, and customized home exercises, all aimed at enhancing comfort and long-term quality of life.

Fitness & Conditioning

For active or aging dogs, we offer fitness and conditioning programs to improve strength, endurance, and balance. These sessions are ideal for sport dogs, working dogs, or pets needing a safe and structured approach to weight management and mobility.

Pain Management

We use a variety of non-invasive techniques to help manage pain, including manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and customized exercise programs that reduce discomfort and support healing.

Neurologic Conditions

For dogs with neurologic conditions such as intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), degenerative myelopathy, or nerve injuries, our neurologic rehabilitation programs are designed to support nerve function, retrain movement patterns, and enhance quality of life. These sessions may involve gait retraining, balance and proprioception exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and supportive home strategies to maximize independence and comfort.

Owner Education & Support

We believe that empowered pet owners play a key role in successful rehabilitation. That’s why we provide clear, hands-on education during every stage of treatment. You’ll receive personalized guidance, instructional materials, and demonstrations so you feel confident continuing care at home. We’re here to answer your questions, offer practical advice, and partner with you every step of the way to support your dog’s recovery and well-being.
